Employement Equity
Unfair discrimantion - When employers advertise a position which doesn't need a car and yet insist on the ad, with big bold letters, that applicants must have a car.
I understand that they might be doing this to avoid late coming because of transport problems but this unfair to the applicatants.
Some of the job seekers are willing to relocate to the closest area as to not inconvenience the employer, but they are not even given a chance to be interviewed.
Some job seekers are still waiting in line to get dates for their drivers licences. Not everyone is interested or has the money to bribe a licencing official to get a date/licence. Isn't this also forcing people into criminalism?
May all the employers who do this come on board and explain themselves.
