HIV campaign for white people

I am an HIV positive woman. I am white from a good family background and i am appaulled by the lack of information disseminated to us white people about AIDS. Its as if we are immune to it.

I've never slept with a black person and infact contracted the disease from my cheating husband.

I think it is about time the media started speaking to South Africans in general about the disease, if i have it i am sure there are many others out there like me who are afraid to speak up because "our pure white blood" is not susceptible (ha!ha!ha! what a load of crap!)

As a person in the media industry, i do not understand why the media has segmented the disease or labelled it as black! It's no different from when it was known as the gay disease. Please do a campaign around this. we need to protect ourselves TOO.
