Currently it is viewed as a country with high crime;high unemployment;high AIDS ;high inflation;and high political interference in its sport.Add to this BEE,AA, corruption and squatter camps.

There are positives but they need to be to promoted. The promotion needs to overshadow the negatives and the government should be seen to be proactive in resolving the problems. We had reports here that you had blackouts because someone forgot to budget for infrastructure.That kinda stuff scares people.With the World Cup on the horizon, it might be a good idea for Mbeki et cie to introduce a PR department staffed by professionals who can think outside the square. Expeprienced people with international experience irrespective of pigmentation.Personally I would love to return to South Africa.However,during my last visit in August 2006,I saw more bodies in one day than in my whole life.Where,pray tell me, do you have to have a security guard to accompany you when visiting a cemetery
