I'm an avid viewer of the programme on SABC 1 and particular note that this current run has no major sponsor as opposed to the first run with Cell C?
Currently participating guests are given just flowers for ladies and wine/champagne for gents? Where is the marketing department in all this? There are lots of game reserves, resorts, lodges and hotels for weekend getaways that could be sponsoring!!!
Just to give a typical example "The Block" on MNET has LOADS OF LIVING, FNB & MICA being sponsors/advertisers. This is mainly for the building/interior decor industry.
Does this means there are no companies willing to support such a widely viewed TV programme?
