Deborah Patta v Julius Malema
Anyone catch the eTV 3rd Degree Malema-Patta matchuop last night?
I watched the 3rd Degree interview with Julius Malema last night with great interest. Afterall, Malema is a fascinating if odious character, and he just might play a significant role in this country's future. However, with Deborah Patta doing the interviewing we were presented with a school ground slapfest, as she spitefully zoomed in on his weight, alcohol consumption, and generally sat with a sneer and arrogance that I found totally unwatchable. Deborab Patta has for me acheived the impossible: made much-maligned Malema seem quite reasonable and decent - at least compared the trashy, meanspirited, and ego-driven journalism of Patta.
