Who really makes money in Advertising?
Why is it that Photographers & Directors get paid so much when they are not the ones coming up with the ideas.
Creatives work nights and weekends without overtime pay - doing their damndest to produce something respectful that both their Creative Directors and their Clients will approve. Then, some Photographer gets pulled in to shoot the Ad and gets paid anywhere from 10 grand a day upwards.
It's no wonder that so many creative people in Advertising have lost their faith and passion for a business which failes to remunerate fairly.
