Failing to understand Advertising & getting the message
I'm a die-hard fan of Advertising, in most cases people will argue on whether the Advert sucks/ misleading/ discriminating and so forth. But failing to ask & answer themselves the right questions and right answers with regards to a certain Advert. One thing for sure I know ASA will never allow National broadcasters to play an Ad without approving it, viewing the ad from different perspectives. On the other hand, a client will not accept/ approve a pathethic Ad knowing that its not directed to its target market,won't be understood and so forth.
Ask yourselves- What is advertising? Why a company/ product be advertised? What message/info are they sending to us ? Who is their target market? What is a client/Ad agency? What is competion? Why persuade a client/ customer? (both existing& prospective).
I would say Advertising its a game loved by most but understood by few!!!!! Its simply a Win-Win situtation.....
