Public Works boss delivers lock-out blow to tardy workers
According to the Sowetan, when its reporters arrived at the building by 10am workers were still swarming around outside, singing freedom songs and dancing.
The workers accused Mohlala of venting her anger on them because she had not featured in the lists of preferred candidates for leadership of the ANC in the province. Mohlala is reported to have scoffed at these claims, however, saying it had nothing to do with the forthcoming ANC conference but all about ensuring discipline within the department that she runs.
