Printed versions will continue to be handed out to Decorex visitors at the Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg shows and distributed to design professionals, including architects and interior designers.
“Making Detail available electronically reaches a much wider audience and connects suppliers and buyers online,” says Sonja Walls, Decorex operations manager. “When it comes to household goods and interiors in particular, consumers have become responsible spenders who plan their purchases very carefully. Marketing and advertising have to work so much harder to woo this new breed of consumer.”
