Sports supplement for Sunday Times
Sports news competing with other news for front page headlines will soon be a thing of the past after the Sunday Times announced this week that it will be launching a dedicated 24-page national sport supplement on 19 November 2006.
According to sources close to the newspaper, "sport is just as important as other world news and should therefore have a dedicated section the same way finance or politics does."
The new dedicated tabloid section will incorporate SoccerLife and include all the existing elements of the current sports pages and also allow for more up-to-date sports editorial.
