Ceres goes organic

Ceres fruit juice has added Ceres Organic to their range to meet the consumer's quest for purity. Ceres Fruit Juices (CFJ) and Allganix, South Africa's leading processor of organic products have embarked on a joint venture, whereby Allganix provides organic raw materials for CFJ to manufacture their own range of organic fruit juices.

According to Willem Grové, brand manager of Ceres, the addition of the organic range to the Ceres brand is both was in line with the brand's premium positioning and thea result of increased consumer and trade demand for organic products.

The fruit used to create the Ceres Organic range has been produced the Organic way, whereby no artificial chemicals, pesticides, herbicides and fertilisers are used during the production process.

The Ceres Organic range, available exclusively through Woolworths outlets nationwide, is available in three flavours: Apple, Apricot and Peach & Apricot. The product is packaged in a 300 ml glass bottle, with the familiar green Ceres tamper-proof safety pop cap. The innovative transparent full-shrink sleeve label on the bottle extends above the cap with a perforated seal around the neck to maximise consumer and product safety. co-branded Ceres and Allganix.
