From a health and safety point of view, cans are preferred at festivals over glass bottles, since the latter tend to break easily and can inflict injury. "For this reason, and because we have recently launched our new premium brandy and cola drink in a can, it made sound sense to partner with CAN DO! at the festival," says Cindy Hall, KWV's category marketing manager RTDs.
Initiated by Bevcan, CAN DO! is a South African campaign that educates consumers on the benefits of cans and encourages them to recycle cans and take responsibility for the environment.
"We invited KWV3 & Cola to join us to help promote a new product, as KWV3 & Cola is fellow can-supporter," says Klaus Hass, sales and marketing director of Nampak Bevcan
