Sky Lounge for Cape Royale Luxury Hotel and Spa

The Sky Lounge at the Cape Royale Luxury Hotel and Spa will soon have a new international venue, the NikkiBeach club concept, following a capital investment of over R4.5 million. Hospitality specialist, Urban Avantgarde, has acquired the portfolio and management contract of the development.

The Sky Lounge concept is owned by Brazilian tycoon Francisco Rocelo Lopes Beserra and Joao Paulo Camara, president of VIP Executive Drives.

"This development offers a panoramic rooftop view over Cape Town and is a hotspot for international celebrities, synonymous with Hollywood style and glamour, which made it the perfect fit for us," says Lara-Mahdessian Jagdev, marketing manager for Urban Avantgarde.

Jagdev says the features of poolside dining, 360 degree panoramic views, 360 degrees bar, international beverages, two glass infinity swimming pools and luxurious lounge areas, will set it apart from any other venue that Cape Town has to offer.

It will operate on an exclusivity policy to its members and to hotel guests, for privacy and confidentiality. "Membership is by invitation only, targeting an international crowd of big spenders and red carpet A-listers, offering complimentary concierge, close protection services and executive valet parking."

The second phase of this development will go live during the fourth quarter of 2012.
