New dining options at Killarney Mall

Complementing the new Killarney Mall CineCentre, which opens to the public on Friday, 6 May 2011, are five new dining concepts that have also opened, to serve the movie-going market.

Capital offers elegant dining in an exquisite setting from the Jewel of India restaurant's teams. Africa, India, China and Italy come together in a celebration of fusion under the welcoming branches of a magnificent tree. Its chefs all originate from India and are specially trained in this singular concept, which offers a new expression of traditional food, with Indian flair. The menu features an unusual fusion of Indian style and spice as the inspiration for a novel and exciting take on Chinese and Italian dishes, including seafood and of course, all the fiery zest of Indian food.

Jozi Steakhouse is an all-African steakhouse with a relaxed atmosphere where diners can enjoy a piece of Africa and sample well prepared local and international dishes. Its menus include local speciality meat dishes, chicken, fish and vegetarian options, as well as a comprehensive sushi menu.

Food, décor and ambience come together at Del Forno Cucina, this Italian restaurant offers style and substance. Enjoy an exceptional selection of food prepared by expertly trained chefs and pizza chefs with a broad spectrum menu appeals to all tastes.

Ocean Basket seafood restaurant, a firm South African favourite, has also introduced its menu to Killarney Mall at a large, airy pleasant restaurant in the franchises' tradition.

Mumbai Cafe's Indian fast-food concept is inspired by Indian beach cafes at chow patty. This real Indian food is Halaal.

"With five new restaurants and five state-of-the-art cinema screens, we are Joburg's newest entertainment hot spot," says Debra Sharnock, Killarney Mall centre manager.
