Connie Mamokete Moolpelwa of Connie's Tuck Shop in Rustenburg won a trip to Durban for four adults and three children, including return flights, accommodation at the Southern Sun Elangeni as well as uShaka Marine World tours and spending money. Patrick Themba Dlamini of Celukuphila Store in Mtubathuba KZN won a trip to Cape Town for four adults and one child, including return flights, accommodation at the Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel, city and peninsula tours and spending money.
The competition, which ran in select wholesale stores in February and March this year, was publicised via highly visible, adventure-themed in-store displays, and attracted thousands of entries. Although Moolpelwa and Dlamini scooped the only two adventure holidays on offer, nine other entrants won weekly cash prizes of R10 000 each.
