Twitter CEO steps down

Jack Dorsey co-founded Twitter along with Noah Glass, Biz Stone and Evan Williams in March 2006. Dorsey is also serving as the CEO of a fintech company, Square, which he set up in 2009. It's been reported that Dorsey will remain a member of the board until his term expires at the 2022 meeting of stockholders

Parag Agrawal, who served as chief technology officer since 2017, will be taking over the role.

Parag Agrawal has been with Twitter for the past decade. He joined Twitter as a distinguished software engineer and then became the chief technology officer. As the CTO, Parag was responsible for "Twitter’s technical strategy and overseeing machine learning and AI across the consumer, revenue, and science teams".
