Bonang's menage a twar
The Metro FM DJ and Top Billing presenter is rumoured to be the cause of DJ Zinhle and rapper AKA's break-up.
Handling the scandal with a degree of sass and class, DJ Zinhle, posted a series of tweets with the hashtag "My play list for the day" with the words "I'm sorry" in each song title.
The tweets followed reports that Matheba had lawyered up and demanded an apology from DJ Zinhle after the latter blogged that AKA had cheated on her with Matheba for five months before their split.
DJ Zinhle was given until the close of business yesterday to apologise for defaming Matheba.
DJ Zinhle sent the tweets shortly before 5pm, with the hashtag "before5pm".
One of her tweets - "Need to get my tickets for #FillUpTheDome" - added more fuel to the fire to the feud between AKA and rapper Cassper Nyovest over who was the brains behind the Fill the Dome campaign.
Other tweets included:
"I need to start working on my summer body #Before5PM"
"You need to pay for your TV licence #Before5PM"
"I need to pay all my traffic fines #Before5PM"
Neither Matheba nor AKA responded to cheeky tweets at the time of going to press.
But, earlier in the day, Matheba opened her radio show with the anthem for side chicks, Kelly Price's As We Lay.
In a bid to be fair, The Times would like to suggest the "Side Chick's Rebuttal" playlist, including:
Me'shell Ndegeocello: If That's Your Boyfriend (He Wasn't Last Night),
Brandy & Monica: The Boy is Mine,
Aaliyah: If Your Girl Only Knew,
Mia X: I'll Take Ya Man,
Toni Braxton: He Wasn't Man Enough For Me, and
Blu Cantrell: Hit 'Em Upstyle
