Ad sales target Boomerang

Oracle Airtime Sales has launched SA ad sales on the Boomerang Channel (DStv's Channel 81) as of 1 April 2006. The channel offers 24-hours of the best in classic animated entertainment and a collection of 2 000 cartoon characters. Included are timeless favourites, such as Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes and The Flintstones.

Boomerang targets a younger audience than Cartoon Network and brings much-loved cartoon characters to a whole new generation of viewers. Both channels are provided by Turner Broadcasting System Europe.

Several programme highlights have been earmarked for April to coincide with the commercial launch of Boomerang. Distributor, Turner Broadcasting System Europe, has confirmed a 24-hour broadcast of the world-famous cat and mouse duo, Tom and Jerry, an hour-long slot for The Flintstones and the return of Boomerang Cinema, which features family movies like Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island.
