Top three profit makers to battle it out in Sanlam Money Game grand finale

With only three more weeks to go before the final episode of Sanlam Money Game, tension is mounting. The stakes have now been raised for the final episode with the top three moneymakers going head to head during their last ride on the entrepreneurial express.

This time round the game has changed slightly with the producers tightening up the rules. Plus an obligatory high-powered sales and marketing session has been put in place, piling on the pressure and forcing contestants to up their competitive metabolic rates.

So who will make up the talented trio on 27th August? It seems unlikely that anyone can topple Cornelia Prinsloo from her pole position at the top of the rankings, with an outstanding personal profit of R50 225-80. Her nearest rival is Mandi Black with R28 026-10, followed by Dean Erasmus with R22 858-70.

However, with two more weekly winners yet to emerge before the finalists are chosen, nothing can be ruled out and it's still all to play for in the final weeks.

While rumours abound of last-minute changes to the restrictions surrounding the game, we can reveal some new elements. Finalists will not be allowed to revisit previous contacts or use old deals and, while free to visit any destination of their choice within South Africa, the game will start in one location and finish in another. Players will therefore be forced to make a cross-country dash within three days, minimising their spending and maximising their profit en route.

Sanlam marketing executive Deon Lessing also revealed that the final trio will participate in an intensive sales and marketing workshop immediately prior to their on-camera power struggle, presented by entrepreneurial and marketing expert Bill Gibson. "This specially-designed Sanlam Money Game session aims to hone competitor's existing skills, focus their marketing strategies and launch them onto their entrepreneurial rollercoaster-ride as highly-motivated as possible," revealed Lessing. "As a result, viewers can expect to see even more inspired deals on display during the final 60 hours."

So make sure you tune in to see what other surprises are in store for the finalists as they battle it out to become the Sanlam Money Game contestant of the year. Visit www.sanlammoneygame.co.za for all the latest updates and the chance to win R60 000.00 in the Sanlam Money Game competition.
