Supersport launches annual magazine

SuperSport, in association with Trinity Media, will be launching the inaugural annual SuperSport Year In Review magazine countrywide in early December 2007. The publication – a whopping 288-page review of 2007 – highlights the best moments of the sporting year and personifies the channel's new slogan ‘World of Champions'.

Edited by Peter Davies, the editorial mix is wide-ranging. It includes a look at the standout performers of the year as well as a comprehensive overview of every major sport, from the cricket and rugby world cups (which form substantial ‘standalone' sections within the magazine) to local golf rookie Anton Haig's breakthrough win in Thailand to South Africa's Super 14 success and the story behind SuperSport's billion dollar soccer deal. It includes breathtaking photography, quality writing and pertinent statistical analysis.

The magazine also offers a platform for SuperSport to expand upon its corporate social responsibility programmes such as Let's Play and the SuperSport sports management initiative with Wits Business School.

It will retail for R49.95 (including VAT). A limited edition hardcover version signed by various sports presenters and sports personalities will be available for purchase directly on www.trinitymedia.co.za for selling at R 149.95.
