BBC directors to address MIPTV featuring MILIA

PARIS: Jana Bennett, director of BBC Vision, and Ashley Highfield, director of future media and technology at the BBC, will give a joint keynote address to MIPTV Featuring MILIA, the audiovisual and digital content market being held 16 - 20 April 2007 in Cannes, France.

The pair will open MIPTV’s Content 360 segment of the Capture Innovation Conference programme. Bennett will show how the newly-restructured BBC Vision integrates multi-platform thinking into BBC visual content creation and commissioning.

Highfield will look at the process of innovation at the BBC, in particular, its online development over the five next years - including the proposed BBC iPlayer.

The keynote is to be delivered on Wednesday 18 April, 5.30pm – 6.30pm, Palais des Festivals, Cannes, France.
