New ad for Yellow Pages dances in
Golden Plunger began flighting in August and Free Dancer in the final week of September and both have been well received.
'Free Dancer' introduces audiences to exceptional dancer and movement instructor Nicolai Norgaard. The agnecy's Marcelle du Plessis, commented, "The ad has the same structure as 'Golden Plunger' but to make it a bit more interesting we decided to cover a longer stretch of time. Therefore, we are introduced to Nicolai, somewhere in the 1950s and follow his achievements to the present day. This allowed us to play around with different film treatments that were specific to certain eras which added an extra layer of realism to our story."
As with the previous spot, this commercial again explores the weakness of search engines when it comes to delivering the most relevant results according to your location. "Although the entertainment value is high, our key objective was to deliver a rational, hardworking message in a memorable way - at the end of the day, it's all about delivering Yellow Pages users local reliable results," commented creative director, Wallace Seggie.
Yellow Pages has been hard at work refining its search functionality of businesses and services to ensure it delivers the most relevant results for its users.
'Free Dancer' was written by Marcelle du Plessis, art directed by Candice Lind and directed by Anton Visser of Velocity.
