Comair to host AASA annual assembly

Comair Limited is set to host this year's Airlines Association of Southern Africa (AASA) Annual General Assembly. The annual general meeting and conference will take place at The Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West near Cape Town, from 17-20 October 2013.

Chris Zweigenthal, CEO of AASA, says, "AASA is very appreciative of the fact that Comair, a major player in the industry, will be the conference host for our 43rd Annual General Assembly and Conference. We have high expectations of an excellent turnout for this event."

A prominent event

Southern African aviation executives, the aviation community and suppliers in the industry will gather to discuss and debate topical issues affecting airline travel and the airline industry in general. This event is one of the most prominent events of the year in the aviation industry and both AASA and Comair expect attendance of at least 300 guests.

Erik Venter, CEO of Comair, says, "AASA, which has 18 airline members in the SADC region as well as 30 associate members across the aviation industry, contributes strongly to ensuring a healthy and commercially successful airline sector in southern Africa, by protecting and promoting the interests of its member airlines.
