Stephan will present his keynote address on Friday, 25 September, where he will discuss his personal experience along the path of entrepreneurship and share his story of building up what is now one of the largest online travel agents in South Africa.

David Chapman, Director General of World Youth Student and Educational (WYSE) Travel Confederation, which organises the annual WYSTC event, said: "We are honoured to have an entrepreneur of Stephan's calibre joining us at this year's event.

"The online vs offline travel agent debate is one that continues to be discussed in the youth/student segment and we look forward to hearing Stephan's views on the topic, as well as his story and personal journey to success in the industry."

Born in Sweden, Stephan started his first business at age 18 and entered the travel industry in 1989, starting a company named International Tours. After selling the company, he continued to found a number of travel start-ups, including the first automated telephone-based booking company in Sweden called Sistaminutenplatser.
Travelstart has a growing presence in five other African countries, as well as Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain.

The keynote session will take place as part of the event's closing proceedings on Friday, 25 September, at 15h30.

WYSTC 2015 will welcome travel industry professionals to the Cape Town International Convention Centre in South Africa from 22-25 September 2015.
