East Coast Radio's Gavin Meiring has been appointed new Chief Executive Officer of P4 Radio in Cape Town. Meiring became Programme Manager at East Coast Radio after its independence from the SABC in 1996, where he has remained for nine years. He will vacate this position at the end of October.
East Coast Radio is wholly owned by Kagiso Media, who recently acquired 25% ownership of both P4 Durban and Cape Town. The group is looking forward to a more integrated working relationship between the stations in the future.
