Touched by an angel on Jacaranda
Jacaranda 94.2 has started a new programming initiative to assist needy persons in the station's broadcast footprint. Jacaranda 94.2 marketing manager Niki Rakgoadi believes Jacaranda 94.2's Good Morning Angels, broadcast every Wednesday, is a platform for the station to build and sustain meaningful relationships with listeners.
"It all links in with Jacaranda 94.2's Feel Good philosophy. We created this feature on the station with the express purpose of highlighting the plight of listeners in need of a helping hand every week, and it has been immensely successful.
"South Africans are a compassionate and giving nation, and coupled with the power of radio to convey the message, it has been possible to make a positive difference."
