Algoa FM wins 2010 Supersport Media Quiz

The 2010 Supersport Media Quiz was won by the Algoa FM team, made up of morning drive show presenter Daron Mann, evening show jock Viv Bozack, sports presenter Rory Petzer and Suren Packery, office manager and sales executive from the station's East London offices.

They claim to have "trained hard" to make it through the regional knock-out rounds and were the only radio station in the finals. Team captain Daron Mann said the questions, compiled by Supersport communications manager Clinton van der Berg, were "unbelievably tough."

Mann is also a founder of Sport Elizabeth, a local sports newspaper in which Algoa FM has shares. He won the Weakest Link Celeb challenge in 2007.
