Hardiman off to 2oceansviberadio

After 14 years with 94.5 Kfm, Richard Hardiman will be joining www.2oceansviberadio.com from August 2010. He leaves his 12 noon-3pm slot to take the 8am-12 noon show, as well as to be a director in the business.

"I will miss Primedia Broadcasting and take with me huge learnings which will hopefully stand me in good stead in this new venture," said Hardiman, who is attracted by the unique potential and challenges involved with broadcasting online.

Commented 94.5 Kfm station manager Colleen Louw, "Richard has made a significant contribution to the success of Kfm and we know he will do well with his new project."

Hardiman joined Kfm in 1996 as a news anchor and journalist and has filled numerous positions, includeingsports presenting on the breakfast show, producing the drive show, presenting the PartyZone (which earned him the nickname Hardiman the Partiman) and hosting both the afternoon drive and lunch shows.

94.5 Kfm will announce the new presenter for this slot shortly.
