New presenter for Capricorn FM
According to Capricorn FM's programmes manager Shonisani Muleya, who led a panel of experts that interviewed potential candidates to fill the vacant position, there is plenty of talent in the province that is not yet discovered. “When a space became available, I recommended to the station executive team that we look for someone local, someone with some broadcasting experience, preferable a [woman] from a community radio station,” he said.
According to Muleya, Nyango will bring new life and energy to the show. “Khensani is a daughter of the [Limpopo] province; she was born and bred here. She understands the language, the challenges and, most importantly, the lifestyle of the people. She is extremely talented and she will definitely be a breath of fresh air, a true gem to listen to,” he enthused.
Nyango loves music, poetry and writing and says her desire to succeed and her willingness to help those in need are her strongest values. She regards prayer as her most sacred weapon.
Concluded Simphiwe Mdlalose, Capricorn FM CEO, “Khensani represents a new voice for the station. Her age defies her maturity. With all her personal traits and an experienced team at the station that will be working with her, I have no doubt that she will go places.”
