Got change for a million?

From a database of SMS entries, people will be selected randomly for live testing on-air to qualify as a finalist for the next phase of the competition starting on 15 November 2006. Lucky entrants will then need to answer their phone with the phrase "I need 5 to make a million!"

The secnd round of finalist testing will take place at the 5FM Savanna Millionaire Parties, starting on 9 December and travelling to Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. More details on these end-of-year club events will be confirmed shortly, featuring 5FM's top DJs.

To determine the final winner, finalists will be required to complete specific surprise tasks... SA's first millionaire for 2007 will be announced at 5FM's New Year's Eve party in Cape Town on 31 December.
