World Cup Soccer on satellite radio

WorldSpace's World Cup coverage is giving millions of subscribers the opportunity to share in the excitement of this event from the comfort of their own homes. The satellite radio provider has partnered with BBC and sports content giant TWI to provide exclusive FIFA World Cup Germany 2006 coverage.

Cup coverage will be available in South Africa on WorldSpace's "talkSPORT," (channel 500) and on BBC Radio (channel 357).

Subscribers will have access to daily previews, fans' views, reactions and comments, venue profiles, live two-way reports, match summaries and team profiles of all 32 teams, as well as player profiles and interviews.

News clips from the press conferences, training grounds, players and coaches will also be broadcast, giving listeners access to some of the most diverse, high-quality World Cup-related programming.
