Protea Hospitality Group wins at Tripadvisor Awards

The three South African hotels based in Cape Town that made the Top 25 list are:

• African Pride 15 on Orange Hotel #14,
  
• African Pride Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa #20,
  
• Protea Hotel North Wharf, Waterfront #21.

In Kenya, the Tribe Hotel in Nairobi, which features in the African Pride Hotels portfolio, was ranked ninth and seventh in the country, in the Top Hotels and Luxury Hotels category respectively.

Protea Hospitality Group CEO Arthur Gillis congratulated the hotels on their awards.

In the 2012 TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Awards 2012, Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! Cape Town clinched second place in the "Trendiest Hotels in Africa" category, and five other Protea Hospitality Group hotels also made the top 20 list.

Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! Cape Town was also voted 11th trendiest hotel in the world.
