Take our word... on The Last Word
I've had the pleasure of staying at each of these properties before and can say they represent the pinnacle of the bespoke travel experience in terms of comfort and personalised offering. Don't, however, just take my word for it. For the fourth consecutive year The Last Word Long Beach was honoured with the South Africa's Leading Beach Hotel title at the 2012 World Travel Awards (WTA).
"Winning a World Travel Award is the highest commendation in the travel and tourism industry and this triumph serves as a testament to hard work and commitment to excellence over the last 12 months," said Graham E Cooke, chairman and founder of World Travel Awards.
"Credit goes to the entire The Last Word team for loyalty to the brand, and support of the company's undertaking to offer charming, personalised, yet discrete service in an ambience of understated elegance," said Nicky Coenen, GM of The Last Word intimate hotels.
The Last Word is a member of Mantis and Preferred Boutique Hotel.
