Sandton Sun voted Africa's leading business hotel
A popular choice in business circles both locally and internationally, the Sandton Sun Hotel has for a second time been voted "Africa's Leading Business Hotel" in the 2011 World Travel Awards.
The World Travel Awards are a highly coveted awards programme in the global travel industry. More than 200 000 industry professionals participated in the voting process this year.
The last time the hotel won this award was in May 2009, and then as South Africa's Leading Business Hotel a few months thereafter. Subsequent the hotel has undergone a major refurbishment, taking it to the heights of international recognition once again.
"Winning this award for a second time is testament to the hard work and dedication of the hotel's team," says Peter Davidson, GM for Sandton Sun.
