Titled “the world champions of a cappella singing” and “the kings of vocal art”, The King’s Singers current line-up consists of Patrick Dunachie (countertenor), Timothy Wayne-Wright (countertenor), Julian Gregory (tenor), Christopher Bruerton (baritone), Christopher Gabbitas (baritone) and Jonathan Howard (bass).

Audiences will be taken on a vocal journey through various musical styles – from classical, folk and popular music favourites to jazz and choral standards.
The six singers will also be conducting workshops for choirs at the North-West, Pretoria, Johannesburg and Stellenbosch universities, as well as for the Mzansi Youth Choir in Soweto.
The King’s Singers member Christopher Bruerton says they are very excited about performing in South Africa and mentoring young choristers next year: “Sharing our passion with others, whether they are audiences or fellow singers, is an integral part of what makes this ensemble so special. It’s always incredibly uplifting to work with young singers – we learn as much, if not more, than we impart and always leave inspired and re-motivated.”
