Unplugged62 returns
Origin of the festival
Meyer and Beate Joubert had a vision 20 years ago to host concerts on their farm in the Tradouw Valley. From this vision the concept of Unplugged62 was created. The style of the festival incorporates great music, boutique Joubert-Tradauw wines, Deli Alfresco foods and Unplugged62 pouched wines in collaboration with Van Loveren. The Jouberts had a bigger vision for this year’s 20th concert: “Full circle.’’ as Beate puts it. She explains: “Our little festival has grown over the years and to make sure that it is of the same standard as major SA Music Festivals, we have now teamed up with the formidable team of Red Hot Events, who also head up the annual Up The Creek and River Republic Music Festivals.”
