Clean Bandit to be headline act at Electric Summer Music Festival
The inaugural Electric Summer Music Festival, will feature a line-up of international and local artists. Headlining at both the Cape Town and Joburg events on the 7 and 8 of November is the Grammy-award winning UK-based band, Clean Bandit.
The British collaborators shot to fame with their orchestral-led tracks Rather Be and Real Love, and have recently appeared at events such as The Secret Garden Party, Bestival and Field Day. Their culture clash of bass, beats and soaring strings evokes the sounds of classic Massive Attack and Basement Jaxx, all with a brand new electro twist. Their debut release, 'Mozart's House', on their own label, Incredible Industries, achieved resounding support whilst their latest EP,'A&E' on Black Butter Records, has been a world-chart topper.
Goldfish
SA's most-loved Electronic DJ Duo, Goldfish, will be co-headlining along with Clean Bandit at this year's festival.
As a brand new edition to the South African Market, Electric Summer will push the boundaries, offering an eclectic mix of cutting-edge production that is set to transform the stages of Cape Town's Hamilton's Club and Joburg's Zoo Lake into a rockin' Summer Music festival experience.
