The Tea Party festival, a flamjangled experience

The Tea Party festival, billed as a festival for the kid inside all of us, will be held at Elandskloof Farm, Helderstroom, situated between Villiersdorp and Greyton, 125km from Cape Town, from 27 to 29 March, 2015.

You can expect to find: themed spaces and places, great music, top food, fine cocktails, oversized art, dress-up, surprising performances, ridiculous games and daft competitions.

The Tea Garden (main stage) is set under old oak trees, alongside a beautiful pool with fresh flowing water straight off the mountains, a grassed lawn awaits for some heavy relaxing and good times and is open on Saturday 10am to 1am and Sunday 10am to 4pm, with bands and tip-top shenanigans.

Friday night is 'Black 'n White' with classic silent movies brought to life by soundtracks provided by infamous DJs. The Mirrored Forest: Friday and Saturday night parties with funk-fuelled swinging beats. The Little Market Theatre Stage has daytime beats, sideshow antics, and off-the-cuff performances.

On Saturday night the main stage hosts the The Great Tea Dance. Get ready to push forward in time while remaining in the past. Party like its 1984! A dance lesson to rival them all! Come dressed to the nines from any era you like, the classier the better, and learn something old as we get our running man on and pop to the beats.

There will be a Best-dressed Flamzanian Competition, and The Fantastic Feast - the annual ballistic banquet too be held at a secret location on the farm. More details on Facebook soon.
