New acts confirmed for the Electric Vines New Year's Festival

Joburg-based duo Night Natives have confirmed their appearance. With a decade of live shows, album triumphs and radio hits between them, Dale Orchard and Denholm Harding have evolved. Denholm Harding from Just Jinjer and Dale Orchard who has played bass in Easy Tiger, Plush and Fevertree have created a new sound. With Dale on bass and taking a lead on vocals for the first time, and Denholm on drums and B/Vs, the sound is honest and authentic. You get the feeling that they've sidestepped a perfectly polished finish for the raw honesty that this kind of self-driven project lays bare.

Majozi have also confirmed. A newcomer to the scene, whose music is completely contagious, his genre can best be described as indie-folk, but there is more to his music, with subtle influence of electro and country.

DJ Chris Taylor is known for playing uplifting progressive house and electro, but without any limitations. He has also been known to play deep house and tech house. "I don't care about genres, if I like how it sounds I will play it!"

DJ Matt Blitz's experience in club land is evident in the sets he plays. From deep house to techno he is just as comfortable warming up a club floor as he is closing a festival. He has been at the helm of a few of Cape Town's most loved club brands: I Love Digital, Spy Deluxe, Pump That Dirty Groove and most recently Bassmint.

The Electric Vines bus will shuttle you in style from Cape Town to Arabella Wines. The bus departs from Cape Town (TBC): 30 December at 8am and then Departs Arabella Wines: 1 January, 2015 at 1pm. No single journey may be purchased.
