Blunt's first album, "Back to Bedlam", catapulted him to worldwide superstardom on the strength of massive songs such as You're Beautiful, High and Goodbye My Lover. Add on two more albums, three world tours, four number one singles, five Grammy nods (plus two BRIT awards, two Ivor Novellos and a host of MTV awards), a six-piece band and seven years on the road, James Blunt has proven his musical success is here to stay.
"Moon Landing" is his fourth album, is the follow-up to 2010's "Some Kind of Trouble" and is Blunt's first new material in three years. Blunt commented: "It's about getting back to basics and rediscovering the power of music to communicate emotion directly and honestly, without too much polish or complication." The result is a collection of songs that are raw, direct and emotionally honest. The album features production from the likes of Steve Mac, Guy Chambers and Steve Robson and was executively produced by Tom Rothrock, who worked with Blunt on 2005's "Back to Bedlam". His latest singles, Bonfire Heart and Postcards, are climbing the international and local charts proving to be another two big hits.
