The three finalists: Bongi Mvuyana, Tresor Riziki, and Muzart, stand a chance to perform at the 2014 Blues Passion Festival alongside artists Lily Allen, Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters, George Benson and Steven Seagal.
Bongi Mvuyana is a South African alternative singer whose single, I Wonder, has been playlisted on major South African national and regional radio stations including Metro FM, YFM and 2OceansVibe. I Wonder has also featured on charts in four Nigerian radio stations. Mvuyana was named as one of the Women to Watch in 2014 on Grazia's Cool List 2014.
Five-piece musical collective Muzart exploded onto the music scene in 2013 with their single Jukebox. Muzart's take their musical influence from all spheres of music and artists, both old school and new school.
Tresor Riziki is an award-winning and multi-Platinum-selling DRC-born singer-songwriter, signed to Universal Music Publishing Group and currently based in South Africa. Tresor has played alongside the likes of Lira, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Freshly Ground. Riziki was a 2013 Talent Quest finalist.
