Lion of Africa Music concert gets jazzy with carols
South Africa's top jazz musicians come together for a spectacular live performance to mark the eighth and final installment of the Lion of Africa Music expressions series for 2013. The event takes place at Joburg Theatre in Braamfontein on Friday, 13 December 2013.
Themed "Carols and All That Jazz" the final concert brings together, Lindiwe Maxolo, Njabulo Seh, Wanda Baloyi, Swazi Dlamini and Tshepo Mngoma for a night of soulful jazz.
"The Lion of Africa Music Expressions series has been a huge success since the first installment that featured Simphiwe Dana. We have successfully reached our objectives of showcasing and celebrating some of South Africa's best performers alongside other emerging talent. We also had the privilege to launch Swazi Dlamini's latest album 'Soul of Me'", says Rethabile Mahuma, head of Marketing at Lion of Africa Insurance.
