SA Sports Star of the Year Le Clos plans for 2016
Having edged American legend Michael Phelps in the men's 200m butterfly final in London before taking silver in the 100m event in his specialty discipline, le Clos, 20, received the top honour at the awards ceremony in Sandton on Sunday night. "It's going to be a little difficult for me to do better than this year," he said, "but I have more goals I want to achieve in swimming - not just for next year, but for 2016."
"I want to take this momentum and keep swimming on a high," le Clos told sport24, "but it's going to be hard. We're training now for the (Short Course) World Championships in December and we'll start afresh in January. With my coach (Graham Hill) and my whole team I believe I can do that."
