CSA hopes for quick results on Botha bowling tests

Cricket South Africa (CSA) CEO, Gerald Majola, expressed disappointment on Tuesday following the reporting to the International Cricket Council by the match umpires of Proteas' off-spinner Johan Botha for a suspect action when bowling his "doosra" and faster ball during the 4th MTN ODI against Australia in Port Elizabeth on Monday.

Majola said: "This is disappointing as Johan was cleared after working very hard on his action following the ICC finding fault before. CSA will stand by the ICC rules and procedures and we hope that there can be finality to the new set of tests that will follow this report by the umpires and that the decision will be made known before the ICC T20 World Trophy in England next month. Johan will be eligible for selection for the final MTN ODI against Australia on Friday in Johannesburg."
