Tracker Ride Free Bike Park launched in Modderfontein
The launch of Tracker's RideFree safe cycling initiative could not have come at a better time, as three petitions are currently in motion in SA to improve the safety of cyclists. As popular as cycling has become in the last few years, the subject of cycling safety has increasingly come into the spotlight. From insensitive motorists (and sometimes cyclists) to the escalating bicycle-related crime, there is no doubt that a solution is needed, and soon.
50km of expert trails
Bronwynn Tippett, chief marketing officer of Tracker and cycling enthusiast, explained: "This initiative is one we are very excited about. There is a big need to offer cyclists a safe alternative to being on our roads and RideFree is Tracker's answer to the public's call for safer cycling. Until we make our roads safer, bike parks such as the RideFree bike park at Modderfontein will provide enthusiasts of all levels the freedom to ride."
The newly named Tracker Ride Free Bike Park at Central Park Trails Modderfontein, caters to everyone, with four routes ranging from 10km fun rides for amateurs to the almost 50km of red trails to challenge the experts.
