The 11th Soweto Wine & Lifestyle, to be held from 3 to 5 September, 2015, is reinventing the wine-and-food experience in the massive black middle-class market. With limited capacity to showcase South Africa's finest wines to trendsetters from across the globe, this festival has transformed the shape of the wine industry over the past decade and is set to charter new territory with the Freedom of Wine celebration kicking off at an exciting new venue with multi-tiered opportunities for wineries to select the audience they want to showcase their finest wines to.

The new festival format includes a ground-floor tier for all wineries and the introduction of a public VIP premium wine floor aimed at the more developed palette, which has been growing in Soweto for the past 10 years.
An exciting new lifestyle element is set to transform the face of South Africa's pioneering wine festival further.
Marilyn Cooper, co-founder of the Soweto Wine & Lifestyle Festival, said: "From the beginning, the Soweto Wine & Lifestyle Festival has been about bringing the Winelands to Soweto, engaging communities, opening up new markets for South Africa's wineries, but, more than this, educating our middle market on the varieties and lifestyle of wine and wine etiquette. As the first township wine festival, we have always been at the forefront of innovation and, in 2015, we are taking another leap forwards by reinventing the festival experience."
