African Fashion International has revealed a list of 60 female and over 50 male models from South Africa and around the world - including Ghana, Barbados, the US, Jamaica, Nigeria, Angola, Australia, Brazil, Sweden, Russia, and Uganda - set to walk the runway sporting the latest collections from the country's top established and emerging designers.

"The model line-up for MBFWCT 2014 is truly diverse. As AFI is a platform that celebrates the African aesthetic and bridges the gap of global relevance, we are delighted to have both local and international models walking for the designers who are showcasing," said AFI spokesman Sizwe Nzimande.

International imports include Brazilian beauties Larecia Hines (who has modelled for the likes of Vivienne Westwood) and twins, Suzana and Suzane Massena; Africa's Next Top Model 2014 winner, Ugandan Aamito Lagum; Face of Africa 2008 winner, Kate Menson and Roselyn Ashkar (Africa's Next Top Model 2014 finalist) from Ghana; and Mr Angola 2013, Carlos Nascimento, among many others.

Sharing the ramp with this global elite will be South Africa's latest and most talked about export, 18-year-old Capetonian Eugon McNeill, who has shot to stardom over the past year, taking him from his Kraaifontein home to runways and magazine and TV shoots locally and in New York, Milan and Paris for top labels including Salvatore Ferragamo, Andrea Pomilio, Onitsuka Tiger, Ports 1961, Craig Port, David Tlale, Andrian Kuiters and Polo.

Other home-grown talent set to grace the catwalk includes Elite Model Look 2013 finalist Sethu Gwazube; Cavalli and Calvin Klein model Kayla Kuyler; Elite Model Look 2010 contestant Sydney Bailey; Capetonian models for the H&M S/S 2014 campaign, Henrico van Niekerk, Ludan Theron and Morne Marais; Polo International model Du Toit Botha; and MBFWCT 2014's second set of twins, Boland boys Alex and Charlie Kotze.

These and other world-class models will walk the MBFWCT 2014 runway in the latest collections from 17 esteemed local designers including: Marianne Fassler, Gavin Rajah, KLûK CGDT, Stefania Morland, Fabiani and Craig Port, as well as many promising newcomers, in 15 shows over three days.
