The music video for Escape, the third single off KONGOS sophomore album, Lunatic, premiered last night on DStv's MK. Shot mostly in South Africa, a couple wakes up to destruction on the tellie and hit the road to "escape". Naturally, they're headed for Cape Town...

The troubling thing about this video, I find, is the absence of the rest of humanity. Where has everyone else gone? They do meet two travellers on a dirt road on their journey, but what about when they reach "that good hope town" - the safe haven? I imagine it would be a popular destination come Armageddon. Otherwise, it's a nice feel-good effort from KONGOS.
