Nokia Rise & Shine Festival back in Sandton

The eco-friendly Nokia Rise & Shine music festival will be returning to Sandton Central Park, Joburg, on Saturday, 29 March, 2014. Acts will include: Jeremy Loops, Yoav, Shadowclub, Desmond & the Tutus, Bongeziwe Mabandla, Tidal Waves, Andra, Michael Lowman, and Dave Baudains.

Gates open at 8am. There will be a light yoga session on the lawn at 9am, before a full day of music, food, nature and friends. Delicious cuisine will be provided by a number of high-end vendors sourced from the top food and design markets.

Nokia Rise & Shine Festival back in Sandton

Sandton Central Park is on the corner of Grayston and Sandton Drives, with the entrance to the Park on 5th Street. It is a short 2km tuk-tuk ride from Sandton's Gautrain Station. Parking is available at Sandton City for a flat fee of R10.

Nokia Rise & Shine, in association with Johannesburg City Parks, will plant a tree for every 50 people who attend. The event raised 136 trees last year, resulting in a green footprint.

R200 - At the Gate Children under 10 are welcome free of charge accompanied by an adult.

No 11 to 18 year olds. No food or drinks allowed through the gates.
