Short, sharp close to Design Indaba

This year's Design Indaba close saw Mini South Africa and iLuminate, of America's Got Talent fame, produce a glittering representation in lights of the newest addition to the car range, the new Mini Roadster, as it joined international performers.

"It was important to launch the car in a way that was befitting of the sexiest, most evocative brand yet. The marque has design and adventure at its core and so does iLuminate, which was our first choice to reveal our latest adventure," says Karen Valle, GM of Mini South Africa.

iLuminate is described as a world class act that is ahead of the entertainment curve, with a performance that was a sonic and visual spectacular, combining dance, high-energy beats and light for an unforgettable experience.

Roadshow

The Mini Roadster will tour South Africa on 'Another Night, Another Adventure' in the weeks to come. The challenge to night owls, or anyone else whose day only starts once the sun has set, is to own the night with the Roadster. By finding the unique QR codes hidden at top nightspots across Johannesburg, Cape Town or Durban or on popular local blog sites, the public can win night-time adventures.
